DAY 1: ARRIVE AT HANOI.

Our services begin here. You are greeted at the airport by our Travel facilitator, and then ushered to a chauffeur driven vehicle. You are then driven to

your hotel where you are assisted with your check in. The next day’s plans are briefly reviewed and the Travel facilitator hands over travel documents such as your air tickets

and hotel vouchers to you.


DAY 2: HANOI - HALONG EXCURSION (Breakfast, Lunch)

Start your exploration of Vietnam with a full day excursion to Halong, 105 miles from Hanoi. Board a private boat for a cruise in Halong Bay (4 hours), a World Heritage Site recognized by UNESCO in 1994. Marvel at the 1000’s of odd-shaped islands, visit magical grottoes, and relax in the best scenic beauty of Vietnam.

Lunch of fresh seafood is included this afternoon.

Return to Hanoi with stops at ceramic and hand embroidery workshops en route.


DAY 3: HANOI – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, Lunch)

Start your day with a city tour of Hanoi. The tour includes Hanoi’s cultural and historical highlights, comprising Lake of Restored Sword, Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, the Ethnology Museum (closed on Monday) and a downtown pedicab ride (1 hour) around the old quarters of Hanoi, a collection of narrow streets, each named after the product sold. If time permits, spend some time browsing and shopping in the streets of the old quarters.

There is a break for lunch.

Afternoon – Proceed on a drive to the airport to board the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive at Ho Chi Minh City and check in to your hotel.


DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, Lunch)

A morning tour of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly called Saigon, features the History Museum (closed on Monday), a short walk along the shopping areas of Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) from Notre Dame Cathedral to the Municipal Theater. Then, visit the Binh Tay Market in Chinatown, Thien Hau Temple, and a lacquer workshop.

There is a break for lunch.

Afternoon - Take a ½ day excursion to Cu Chi, 43 miles north of Saigon, famed for its 125 miles of underground tunnels. Crawl down a tunnel to feel the underground life, and then have an option to test your marksmanship with an AK rifle at a local rifle range (extra charges apply).


DAY 5: HO CHI MINH CITY - MY THO EXCURSION (Breakfast, Lunch)

Enjoy a full day excursion to My Tho, 46 miles south of Saigon, which is a peaceful town on the banks of the Mekong River. The tour consists of a cruise on the Mekong River, a visit to local homes and orchards, a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, a taste of seasonal fruit & honey tea, and a performance of traditional southern Vietnamese singing.

Lunch of Mekong specialties is included this afternoon.

Return back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.


DAY 6: HO CHI MINH CITY – INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT (Breakfast)

Check out by noon from your hotel & transfer to the airport. Our services end at Ho Chi Minh City
