National Passes

If you're travelling extensively within one country, you'll want to buy a rail pass for the individual country that you're visiting. Such passes are cheaper than the Eurail Global pass and may offer discounts on local attractions. Another advantage of the national rail passes is that they are available even in second class and sometimes offer discounts for senior citizens

FRANCE RAIL PASS

This pass is valid for unlimited travel on the national rail network of France. It offers you unlimited train travel from 3 days upto 9 days in a period of one month. Travel days may be used consecutively or non-consecutively.

ITALY RAIL PASS (TRENITALIA)

This pass is valid for unlimited travel on the national rail network of Italy. It offers you unlimited train travel starting from 3 days up to 10 days in a 2 month period. Travel days may be used consecutively or non consecutively.

SPAIN PASS

This pass is valid for unlimited travel on the national rail network of Spain. It offers you unlimited train travel starting from 3 days up to 10 days in a 2 month period. Travel days may be used consecutively or non consecutively. Children 4 to under 12 years of age pay half the adult fare

BENELUX PASS

This pass is valid for unlimited travel for 3 or 5 days within a 1 month period on the national rail network of Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. Travel days may be used consecutively or non consecutively. Children up to 3 travel free when sharing an adult passenger's seat / bed. Children 4 to under 12 years pay half the adult fare.

EUROPEAN EAST RAIL PASS

The European East Pass offers unlimited travel on the national rail networks of Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary in 1st class & 2nd class. It offers you train travel starting from any 5 days up to 10 days in a 1 month period. Travel days may be used consecutively or non-consecutively. Children from 4 up to 11 years inclusive on the first day of travel pay half the adult fare.

Note : The European East Pass is valid on all non-stop trains on the German leg of the section between Kufstein and Salzburg.
